Learn to skate and play hockey with East Coast Junior Patriots.

The East Coast Junior Patriots is a town youth hockey organization
serving the cities of Everett, Revere, Malden, and East Boston.

Learn to skate:

  • Kids ages 3.5 – 10 years old who are looking to learn the basics of skating.
  • The Learn to Skate program will teach beginner skaters the fundamentals of how to safely fall, get up, and begin to take steps on ice. As players get more comfortable on ice they will begin to work on improving balance, gliding, and starting to use edges.
  • Requirements: Single-blade skates, a hockey helmet with a cage (face shield), and gloves.  Knee and elbow pads are recommended, but not required.

Learn to Play Hockey:

  • Kids ages 3.5 – 10 years old who can skate unassisted or previously completed one session of a learn-to-skate program.
  • The learn-to-play hockey program will continue to work on all aspects of skating while introducing skating with puck, stick handling, passing, and shooting.
  • Full hockey equipment is required (ie single blade skates, shin pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shoulder pads, hockey gloves, hockey helmet with cage, and hockey stick).

No parents are allowed on the ice. We will have instructors on ice that have years of coaching experience. However, we can always use volunteers to help on ice as well. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at eastcoastjuniorpatriots@gmail.com.

We use TeamSnap for registrations. If you have used TeamSnap for any other sports team/organization, please log in with that account to get started. Otherwise, you will be asked to Create a new TeamSnap account before registering.

If you have any questions prior to registration, you can email eastcoastjuniorpatriots@gmail.com.
